60 and Over

Glorious autumn weather greeted the group for the last official day of the host club Kyabram.

Les Grills and Mitch Steven with their team had been kept busy at work on good grass greens with the barbecue fired up and the ladies preparing food in the kitchen.

Once again steady numbers turned up with 112 bowlers comprising 28 teams in total.

A slight breeze, cloudy and warm towards the end. Plenty of two-game winners but finally only two teams with three wins.

Runner-up was a Mathoura team with two shots up in the yard stick. Skip: L Vallance, alongside N Dovaso, P Webber and E Egerton.

Winners were a local team from Kyabram with seven shots out of eight. Skip: L Beacon, alongside M Mately, K Button and R Sceney.

Final game is on Wednesday at Kyabram Valley, starting 11am. The AGM is at Moama BC on Monday April 23 commencing at 10am in the training room of the old building.
