BIG ideas are encouraged for the latest round of the Regional Growth Fund.
The $272 million fund supports major projects in regional, rural and remote areas that deliver long-term economic benefits.
The federal government will invest a minimum of $10 million towards each successful infrastructure project, representing a maximum of 50 per cent of project costs.
Federal Member for Murray Damian Drum said it was an exciting program that could deliver major projects to the local community.
“Projects will need to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities,” he said. “The fund will support additional investment for sustainable economic growth, including from the private sector, other levels of government and not-for-profit organisations.”
