The Monday niners saw Laurie Radley with a score of 49-12-37 and Kevin McCormack with a score of 46-99-37 vying for the winners flag.
In the end, victory fell he way of Laurie, who claimed the victory on a countback.
Laurie’s putter was also on fire, putting down 13 putts on the day.
Kevin didn’t miss out on a personal victory for the day, however, with the straightest drive on the ninth.
Rod McAsey is itching to get back to the game so as he can reclaim his crown for the straightest drive.
The ladies welcomed a new member in Joan Limbrick.
She hasn’t played a game in 30 years but hasn’t forgotten much.
Florrie Bickley had a win with a score of 53-14-39.
second place was incredibly close, with Joan and Faye Latter both had scores of 68-22-46, with Joan taking the day on a countback.
June Gibbs did well with the putter, putting down 14 putts for the day.
Tone Bales won the raffle.

Rochester Golf Club’s midweek nine hole competition is growing in strength with excellent fields playing each Wednesday.
Under the guidance of captain Richard Feuk, the event continues to be popular with players taking advantage of the shorter white course.
Feuk enjoyed a fine round notching 25 stableford points to take the trophy from Gary Charnas on 23.
Charnas took the nearest to the pin on the 12th hole.
This Wednesday is a 4BBB stableford with an 8.30am assembly for 9.00 am hit off.
All golfers are welcome.
Saturday golf tees off on Saturday March 24th while the official opening day event is on Saturday March 31.
All golfers are urged to pay subscriptions as soon as possible to treasurer Steve Malley, Richard Feuk or Graham Willis.
Anyone with some spare time during the week is invited to assist with a clean up of several heaps around the course in preparation for the season.
