LADIES, it is time to pamper yourself.
The annual Nanneella Pamper Night is back and is just a week away.
But this year the hosts’ focus is a little different — they are giving back.
‘‘This year we thought because the event is so popular what better way to help out other women in need,’’ organiser Lisa Foon said.
‘‘We are asking all women who are coming along to bring something to contribute to the Share the Dignity campaign.
‘‘They collect essential sanitary items for women in need such as homeless women or those who are in a violent situation.
‘‘All we are asking is for women to bring along a packet of tampons or pads or shampoo or deodorant to donate. Old handbags that are just sitting in the cupboard are also good to donate.’’
Lisa said the night, which is in its third year, celebrates women and focuses on health and wellbeing.
‘‘At the moment there are about 20 stall holders ranging from makeup and jewellery to psychic readings and massage,’’ she said. ‘‘It is a great time to socialise with other women so this year we are having a lounge/bar area where women can rest and chat in between stalls.
‘‘Tickets are $10 with wine on arrival and nibbles will be provided.’’
The event will be held at the Nanneella Memorial Hall from 7pm on Tuesday, November 14.
