NATHAN Marrone capped off a brilliant season with Rochester to be named the club’s senior best and fairest for 2017.
The polished midfielder was the side’s most consistent performer in an up-and-down season for the Tigers, and the award completed a decorated season in which he was the Goulburn Valley League’s best player in interleague and also represented the Victorian Country side.
Nick O’Connor polled well to finish as the runner-up, star full back James Gledhill among the others to be recognised as the club’s most determined.
