THREE people charged over an aggravated burglary in Bamawm in November in which a mother was attacked and a vehicle stolen have appeared in court.
Hayden Wright, 18, Dean West, 26, and Kashani Jade Stokes, 22, all of Bendigo, appeared in Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
West, charged with theft of a motor car offences, will next appear in the same court on July 27 for a mention.
Wright, charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, theft and theft of a motor car, and Stokes, charged with aggravated burglary and theft-related offences, had their matters adjourned to the same court on November 28 for a committal.
Wright, West, Stokes and another woman allegedly attended a farm in Middleton Rd on November 30, 2016, where a mother was assaulted and some property stolen.
It is alleged a 26-year-old man was forcibly taken from the home but managed flee to a nearby farmhouse.
Stokes then allegedly stole a Pajero from the property, with police pursuing her to Lockington where she was arrested.
The others fled in their own vehicle which crashed in Rochester, before allegedly stealing a farming ute, which was found in Kangaroo Flat later that day.
