Hector leads a hectic life

WHAT do you call a dog with three legs?

In this case you call him Hector.

And you can visit him at the Campaspe Animal shelter.

Hector is a two-year-six-month old desexed Heeler mixed breed and has been up for adoption for a week.

Sadly, he came in to the shelter as a stray who had been hit by a car and due to the extent of the injuries to his hind leg Hector had to have it amputated.

Happy-go-lucky Hector is a delightful young man who takes everything in his stride.

Whilst his ailment is not causing him any discomfort or preventing him from living an energetic life, he may require further medical treatment at some point.

Because of his tripod status it is important that Hector goes to a home where his weight will be watched.

Hector can be adopted for $355.

To arrange a meet and greet call the Campaspe Animal Shelter on 5480 3005 or view his profile at www.campaspeanimalshelter.com.au
