IF YOU are an AFL fan — or an Essendon tragic — then you had better get your hands on a raffle ticket.
The Rochester Lions Club and St Vincent de Paul are currently running a raffle to be drawn on May 27.
One of two framed items of footy memorabilia donated by Essendon legend Kevin Sheedy and local MPs Damien Drum and Peter Walsh at the Dairy Farmers Day out in October.
‘‘There are two prizes to be won with tickets available at various shops and sites around Rochester,’’ Rochester St Vincent de Paul secretary Peter Wynd said.
‘‘The first name drawn chooses between The Game That Made Australia, Celebrating 150 years of Australian Football, valued at $1000, and A Moment in Time. Essendon Football Club Legends, valued at $400.
‘‘The proceeds will be shared between the Rochester Lions and St Vincent de Paul and will be used for the benefit of the Rochester community.’’
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
