Local school kids go crazy — and caring

Patrick Keele, Izaiah Conolan, Harrison Lees and Shiloh Sims were comparing hairdressing pointers at Lockington Primary.

Grade 1/2A and 1/2B at Lockington were happy to show their team effort on crazy hair day.

Mitchelll Scurrah was one of the smoother looks - with his locks - at Lockington Primary School.

Hannah Gibbs-McDonald went al out on looking as wild as she could get with her multi-coloured hairdo.

At St Joseph's Harrison Keating was happy to show some of the work he had been doing.

Darby Martin was all smiles as he waited to show his work on the last day of term at St Joseph's.

LOCKINGTON Consolidated Primary School raised $125.50 for the Good Friday Appeal from their ‘crazy hair day’ on their last day of term.

There were 135 students who took part and came to school with wigs, colours and crazy hair styles for a gold coin donation.

While at Rochester’s St Joseph’s Primary School students used their last day of the school term to be all about Easter.

Running activities from 9.30am to 1pm, 113 students took part in Easter-themed rotations.

Every class did an enactment of the Last Supper, Stations of the Cross, games and an Easter egg hunt.
